Pricing is based on the total teaching time successfully covered at the same studio on the same day.

Submit your coverage request at no cost. Once a qualified teacher accepts the assignment, you’ll receive a secure payment link for the applicable BackUp matching fee. After payment is confirmed, BackUp will provide the teacher’s contact information and assignment confirmation.

Substitute teachers establish their own minimum rates. Studios submit the rate offered for each assignment, and teachers decide whether to accept it. Teacher compensation is paid directly by the studio and is separate from BackUp’s matching fee.
